Just yesterday, actress and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Sana Makbul, rang in her 32nd birthday, and now, she had revealed that she has been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. The update comes just days after she was recently hospitalised after her health deteriorated. The actress noted that she is trying her best not to get a liver transplant and that her journey has not been easy.

Sana Makbul diagnosed with liver cirrhosis

Notably, Sana has been battling autoimmune hepatitis for quite some time now. In her latest interaction with Hindustan Times, she said, "Recently things got worse. My immune system started attacking my liver more aggressively, and I’ve now been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. I’m trying to stay strong and taking one day at a time."
