The death of actress and model Shefali Jariwala on Friday, 27th June 2025, has left everyone in shock. Although early, unverified reports suggested cardiac arrest, the precise cause of her death is still unknown. As a result, the Mumbai Police has launched a probe in the matter. A post-mortem has been conducted while the forensics have been collected from her home to determine the cause of death.

What Mumbai Police said?

The Mumbai Police have since launched a probe into her death, as they confirmed that her body has been sent for post-mortem examination at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. On the other hand, a forensics team, along with police officers, also visited her apartment on Saturday morning to collect samples and inspect the scene. The authorities have confirmed that they received information about her death in the early hours on Saturday. Meanwhile, the final post-mortem report is awaited before any conclusions can be drawn.

A police official confirmed, “Shefali Jariwala was found at her residence in Andheri’s Golden Rays-Y building. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband Parag Tyagi and three others.”
