Smriti Irani is always open about her personal and professional problems. The actress-turned-politician recently opened up about the difficulties she encountered while working on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and her talk show Kuch Dil Se.

During an appearance on Raj Shamani's podcast, Smriti Irani confessed that she returned to work three days after giving birth to her baby. "My son was three days old when I returned to the set of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi." Why? "Because everyone wanted to watch a new episode every day at 10:30 p.m.," she explained.

Smriti Irani also revealed that she continued shooting after a miscarriage. Producer Ravi Chopra gave her a week off during that difficult period, but due to the show's daily schedule, Ektaa Kapoor was unable to grant her leave. Smriti recalled, “Somebody in the production went and told Ektaa, ‘We're ready to shoot. But Smriti Irani isn't available. She is lying. Nothing has actually happened to her.' So I had to go back with my hospital reports to prove it actually happened.”
