A new family has joined the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Following Popatlal, the Ratan-Roopa household is presented as the permanent residents of Gokuldham Society. Their arrival is a watershed point for the show, integrating them into society`s daily life, opening up new plots, and introducing a new cultural layer. Dharti Bhatt, Kuldeep Gor, Akshaan Sehrawat, and Maahi Bhadra will appear as Rupa Baditop, Ratan Binjola, Veer, and Bansari.
Ratan Binjola, a saree shop owner from Jaipur, will be played by Kuldeep Gor, while his wife, Rupa Baditop, played by Dharti Bhatt, will be a homemaker who also works as an influencer and content producer. Their children, Veer (Akshaan Sehrawat) and Bansari (Maahi Bhadra), will be the new kids in town after Tapu Sena, bringing innocence, laughter, and joy to the neighbourhood.
Introducing a Rajasthani family at this point broadens the scope of Gokuldham. The society, which is known for celebrating diversity and unity, now welcomes the Binjolas, who will provide audiences with another slice of Indian culture in the usual TMKOC style of humour, warmth, and relatability.
