Tannaz Irani, who was abruptly ousted from 'Apna Time Bhi Aayega', has been replaced by Vivana Singh. Having essayed quite a few negative characters, Singh is “thrilled” to set foot in the show as the new evil Maharani Rajeshwari. “I hope to bring my own unique touch to the character and look forward to learning something new from it,” says Singh, who has no qualms playing mother to three adults in the drama.

This was the first time she was playing the negative role. Talking about the character, Tannaz Irani had mentioned, “The grandeur of the role really impressed me. While I have played several grey characters in theatre, this would be my first time I would be stepping into such a role on television. I have mostly played the happy-go-lucky, bubbly girl-next-door, but as an actor, there is nothing more satisfying than the opportunity to experiment with the characters I get to play on screen. Maharani Rajeshwari Singh Rawat is a tough woman to please. She is a stern believer of class distinction and the importance of lineage because royalty runs in her blood.”

The fiction show 'Apna Time Bhi Aayega' follows the journey of Rani, the spirited young daughter of a head staff to the affluent Rajawat family of Jaipur, who refuses to be tied down by her humble roots and chooses to carve her own destiny on the steam of her own talent and intelligence after being raised by her Baba to dream big and chase after audacious goals. Anushka Sen essays the role of Rani, Pratish Vohra plays Rani's father Ramadheer. Fahmaan Khan plays Veer Rajawat, the eldest son of a royal family and a doctor by profession.
