The show, which marks 100 years of the legendary Raj Kapoor, is created by Armaan Jain and directed and written by Smriti Mundhra. Armaan Jain and Smriti Mundhra recently had a chat with Bollywood Hungama and were quizzed about Alia’s absence from the show. Armaan said, “She had prior commitments to shoot. I might sound filmy, but like Raj Kapoor said, ‘work is worship.’” Smriti added, “That is the one thing about this family. They are all workaholics, and they all love what they do.”
