Now in its fourth season, the series has quietly transformed into a cultural staple- its heartland humour and layered storytelling resonating far beyond Phulera. And at the heart of this slow-burn sensation is Rinki, the soft-spoken yet spirited daughter of the Pradhan, played by actress Sanvikaa.

Sanvikaa, who has become a household name thanks to her portrayal of Rinki, is both humbled and amazed by the show’s meteoric rise. “The makers, writers, and their ideas were brilliant. They are constantly on their toes to do better,” she said in an interview with Mid-day, attributing Panchayat’s success to its solid writing and the unshakable support of its loyal viewers. “It’s the audience who are the biggest pillar of our show. Without them, we wouldn`t be here.”
