Saie Tamhankar joins mid-day.com, on our special series ‘Celebrity Pet Parents’ on mid-day.com. Her cat Bankimchandra is the new love of her life. 

Speaking about how she went from not being fond of cats, to adopting one, the actress says, “This is the same guy we shot with in Pet Puraan, he was a kitten back then. We’ve made him a girl in the show but he’s actually a boy. Dnyanesh (director) and I got really attached to him. He has one more cat called Simba and they get along really well. So he lives at Dnyanesh’s house but I’m the silent parent, I come spend time with him, sometimes we go for a holiday or I spend time with him.”
