OTT platforms in India directed to discontinue streaming of Pakistani content

Amid rising tension between India and Pakistan, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued an advisory to all streaming platforms in India to discontinue content from Pakistan

Amid rising tension between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, the Ministry of Information nd Broadcasting has directed OTT platforms to discontinue streaming of content originating from Pakistan. The Ministry has advised any and all streaming sites in India to not air content from Pakistan from immediate effect.
MIB issues advisory to streaming platforms
The advisory by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting comes in the wake of strikes by Indian armed forces on terror sites in Pakistan to avenge the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
