Days ahead of its release, the makers of Special Ops 2 have postponed the release of the crime thriller due to certain circumstances beyond their control. The show starring Kay Kay Menon in the lead will now release on July 18, 2025

The highly anticipated second season of Kay Kay Menon-starrer Special Ops has been highly anticipated by the fans. The show, which was initially planned to premiere on 11 July, has now been postponed and will be released on a new date. Helmed by Shivam Nair, the new season of the acclaimed espionage thriller will have Kay Kay Menon returning as the fan-favourite R&AW officer Himmat Singh, as he leads his team into a more complex kind of warfare. Special Ops 2 revolves around the issue of cyberspace.
Special Ops 2 gets a new release date
Kay Kay Menon took to his Instagram account to release a video announcing the delay in release. The actor added that due to certain circumstances that were beyond their control, this decision was taken to postpone the show. He also assured fans that all episodes of the season will be released together.
