This week, the comic morphed into Gulzar, a poet and director. Once again, he blew everyone away. This time, his impersonation astounded not only the show`s guests, but also hundreds of others on the internet, who marveled at Sunil`s ability to provide punchlines and amusing situations without attempting to be funny.

Sunil`s appearance as Gulzar

Kapil Sharma appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show`s Independence Day special, which is currently available on Netflix, alongside singers Shaan and Neeti Mohan and composer pair Vishal-Shekhar. Sunil appeared in the episode as Fuljar, a Gulzar doppelganger. Sunil, dressed in his usual white kurta-pyjama, surprised everyone by delivering some humorous shayari in the poet`s signature manner.

"He looks exactly like Gulzar Sahab," Archana Puran Singh said as Sunil stepped onto the platform with his podium. The visitors stood up, half shocked and applauding. Their amazement only deepened as Sunil proceeded to recite poems in Gulzar`s style. Vishal held his head in surprise, while Neeti muttered, "Wow."
