Speaking of his digital debut, Emraan Hashmi said in an interview with mid-day: "I've always believed that in movies, because of the very nature of the business, there are a few stereotypes that one has to abide by. That is not the case here. One can try out nice and experimental ideas with a platform like this. I probably consume more than 80 to 90 per cent of my media through Netflix."

Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala-starrer Bard Of Blood is created by Bilal Siddiqi and Gaurav Verma and is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The series is based on a book by Bilal Siddiqi published by Penguin India.

Bard Of Blood also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Kirti Kulhari, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rajit Kapoor in pivotal roles among others. For the unversed, the show is a 7-episode thriller series.

During the promotional event, Sobhita Dhulipala looked elegant in a white sari, while Kirti Kulhari looked chic in a striped black and white dress. Emraan maintained a casual look for the promotion of Bard Of Blood.

"This is one of the most iconic landmarks in our country and honestly, I have not been here. I have shot very close to this place in Delhi, but coming here and commemorating these brave soldiers who have given their lives for us, is something beyond expression," Emraan Hashmi said in a media interaction in Delhi.
