The actor tied the knot with Katrina Kaif in December 2021 after dating for a couple of years. But, it all began after she mentioned him Koffee With Karan and that they would look good together. During the episode, Vicky said, “No Karan, in fact, what happened in the last season of this couch, it was really my moment to know that she knows about me. I did not know that she knew (I existed)." He revealed they had never met before that.
“So the first time I remember Vicky properly meeting Katrina was at Zoya’s house. For the first time, I saw the ice breaking and both of them were chatting. Even at that point, it was too nascent to know that it was going to anywhere," Karan revealed.
Vicky also said he feels amazing to have settled and found a partner in Katrina. “I really truly do feel settled. It’s just a very beautiful feeling to kind of have that companion. I just feel truly lucky to find that in her. She is a wonderful soul and one of the wisest and compassionate persons I have ever come across," the actor said.
Sidharth-Kiara wedding
Karan said that the couch is couch of manifestations as it led to the wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. When Karan asked Sidharth about his relationship with Kiara and if they have plans to tie the knot, he dodged the question and said, "I am manifesting a happier and brighter future.” When asked, “With Kiara?”, Sidharth smiled as he answered, “If it was her, it would be great.” Karan also gave a glimpse of an unseen footage of Kiara talking about her plans of getting married. Karan said he had doubts about making the film mid-shooting and questioned the script of the film. "What we finally shot was very different from what the script actually was. We changed that. I don’t know what I was doing. I think I was drunk or something. I started shooting for the film and I was like why is the script so bad? Of course, it turned out to be an entertaining watch, but it had its own journey," he said. Meanwhile, Sidharth asked Karan to not under-value the film as what they eventually made was quite different from the script. When Alia and Karan drunk dialled Vicky and Katrina
Recalling the incident during the show, Karan Johar said, “Alia and I once drunk-dialled Vicky. We were drinking wine and star gazing, and that is when we were wondering who we should call. This was right before the wedding.” He also expressed his happiness over the marriage of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, saying, “We both have known Katrina for a long time. We got to know you later. Her getting married made us so emotional and happy.”

Vicky recalled how they witnessed the coverage in media and the memes that came along during their prep for the wedding. He revealed that they had a group of friends on chat groups who would share memes and they would laugh about it. He added, "While all these random news were making the rounds, I was just there with the pandit ji saying, jaldi nipta dena please. Ek ghante se jyada nahi (Please complete the ceremony soon, not more than an hour)."
