Indian filmmaker Anand Gandhi and game designer Zain Memon have come together to create a unique universe called Maya. 

Created by Gandhi, who is known for `Ship of Theseus` and `Tumbbad` and Memon, known for SHASN and AZADI, MAYA is a science-fiction fantasy by Department of Lore Inc.

The narrative universe will unfold into films, games, novels, toys, graphic novels, and immersive experiences. The first novel `Maya: Seed Takes Root` is set to launch globally on August 19.
