Hailey Bieber has recently made headlines for three reasons — selling her beauty brand for a jaw-dropping $(US) 1 billion, the longevity of her marriage and her fascination with the glazed beauty look. The aesthetic, which shows no signs of going out of vogue, is so named because it mimics the almost reflective radiance of a glazed donut. The focus, of course, is on healthy, hydrated skin that stops just shy of being shimmery, but harkens back to summer, youth and all-things luminous. 

“The trend involves using products that deliver an amped up version of the dewy look, a stark contrast to the matte-everything trend from a few years ago,” explains celebrity make-up artist Drishya Bhagyanath. She lays down a simple roadmap to getting it right.
