Last month’s much-discussed Mumbai Fringe debut seems to have tickled Khar’s funny bone a tad too well. The suburb is all set to host its own Alt Week, a homegrown alternative comedy festival. Founded by Comicstaan-fame Sumit Sourav, who has been touring with his new show Fast Lane while overseeing robust programming at the new club, the week-long line-up features familiar comics experimenting with new formats, interactive game nights, and improv shows.
