While society gradually learns to accept people with disabilities, those with intellectual disabilities are often sidelined, with the general population lacking awareness and proper information regarding their condition.

Yash Charitable Trust (YCT), an organisation founded in 2014 aims to bring about a change in a fun, yet informative way through YCT Fun Fair — a two-day event celebrating neurodiversity, ie unique ways in which a neurodivergent thinks compared to an average person.

The fair, organised for the first time is a step towards promoting inclusivity among the masses, “As an organisation working for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we wish to showcase our work while becoming a voice for the community,” states Ayush Khandelval, Chief Operations Officer (COO) at YCT.
