Air India on Friday confirmed that its Delhi-bound flight from Vienna on October 9 was diverted to Dubai due to a "technical issue". The airline stated that the aircraft landed safely in Dubai, where it underwent the necessary inspections, before continuing on to Delhi.

The flight, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, resumed its journey after checks and landed in Delhi at 12:19 IST on the same day. However, the airline declined to provide specific details regarding the technical problem.
