Two police constables posted in Ulhasnagar have been suspended for allegedly kidnapping and extorting money from a local construction businessman.

The accused, Constables Balu Chavan and Babasaheb Yadav, reportedly demanded a ransom of Rs 50,000, ultimately extorting Rs 20,000 from the victim after threatening him with a false criminal case.
