On 25-26 February 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs has seized over 7.28 kgs gold, valued at Rs 3.90 crore on February 25 and 26. The seizers are from 13 different cases. 

"On the basis of specific intel, one unclaimed case of 24 KT gold weighing 583 grams was detected during rummaging of Indigo's Male to Mumbai. The seized gold was concealed behind mirror panel of the lavatory located at the front end of the flight", the Mumbai customs official said.
