A long-standing dispute over setting up a vada pav stall near the "Pagoda" in Gorai turned deadly. What had been simmering for years escalated into a brutal crime that no one had anticipated.

According to police, a senior citizen couple, along with their relatives, allegedly attacked a 37-year-old man with a chopper and other sharp-edged weapons, killing him during a quarrel over the stall. The incident occurred late last night in Gorai.
