Mumbai: One shooter held in Kandivali firing case; two accused still on the run

According to police sources, the accused fired two rounds at D’Mello near Garda Petrol Pump in Charkop. The attack is suspected to be linked to a long-standing property dispute and was reportedly carried out as an act of revenge

The Charkop police have arrested one of the shooters, Guddu Singh, in connection with the firing on 40-year-old property dealer Freddy D’Mello in Kandivali West. Two more accused remain absconding, and three police teams have been formed to trace them.

According to police sources, the accused fired two rounds at D’Mello near Garda Petrol Pump in Charkop. The attack is suspected to be linked to a long-standing property dispute and was reportedly carried out as an act of revenge. Investigators said the shooters had been trailing D’Mello from his residence.
