The Dahisar police have booked and arrested two persons, including a woman, for allegedly extorting money from the operator of an orchestra bar and restaurant in Dahisar East by threatening to file repeated false complaints with the police, fire brigade and civic authorities.

Background of the complainant and business

The complainant, Chandrashekhar Gurunath Shetty (47), a resident of Rawalpada in Dahisar East, manages the operations of an orchestra bar and restaurant owned by his cousin at Prabhat Industrial Estate near the Dahisar check post.
