Two arrested for shop burglary; stolen copper cable worth Rs 75,000 recovered

The Kasturba Marg Police in Mumbai have arrested two persons allegedly involved in a night-time burglary. The duo had allegedly broken open the shutter of a borewell materials` shop and fled with copper cable worth Rs 75,000.

According to the police, on the night of November 15–16, unidentified suspects broke the shutter of Shop No 1 in Sai Prasad Building, located near Swagat Hall on Kasturba Road No 5, Borivali East, and stole copper cable belonging to Polycab Company. A case was registered under the relevant sections at Kasturba Marg Police Station in Mumbai.
