When the police inspected the truck, they discovered it had been ingeniously altered to include a two-storey compartment. In the lower level portion, the cops found four buffaloes, a cow, and two calves. However, the upper floor was filled with gutkha packets of various brands

According to police sources, they have recovered gutkha worth approximately Rs 6 lakh from the vehicle.
In a bizarre case of smuggling, gutkha traffickers were caught using a uniquely modified truck disguised as a cattle transport vehicle to evade detection in Mumbai.
The incident came to light on Thursday afternoon when the traffic police near Dahisar Check Naka signalled a truck to stop, but instead of complying, the driver accelerated and fled, raising suspicion.
