Describing late Ajit Pawar as "the best Chief Minister Maharashtra never had," Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid an emotional tribute to the veteran leader in the state Assembly on Monday.
While moving a condolence resolution, Fadnavis said that Pawar, fondly known as "Dada" among party workers, supporters, and even across the political fraternity, had all the qualities needed to lead Maharashtra as Chief Minister. He said Pawar possessed strong administrative skills, sharp decision-making ability, and a deep understanding of governance.
