Mumbai can't be separated from Maharashtra: Fadnavis, Shinde slam Uddhav and Raj

The Maharashtra CM said the upcoming civic polls are a battle for survival for the cousins, not for Marathi people. He also stressed that Marathi is the only compulsory language in Maharashtra and declared that the Mahayuti flag will unfurl atop BMC

Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis and his deputy Eknath Shinde on Monday launched a strong attack on cousins Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, asserting that Mumbai is inseparable from Maharashtra. The duo was addressing a joint rally ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Election at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

Fadnavis said the upcoming civic polls are a battle for survival for the cousins, not for Marathi people.
