BMC polls: Traffic curbs announced in Kurla ahead of voting in Mumbai

To facilitate election work and avoid congestion, no entry and no parking restrictions (except for election-related vehicles) have been imposed in Kurla

Ahead of the BMC Election 2026, Mumbai Police on Wednesday announced temporary traffic and parking restrictions in Kurla (East) to ensure smooth conduct of election-related activities and to ease congestion in busy public areas.

An official traffic notification said that in connection with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Election 2026, traffic restrictions have been imposed near Mumbai Public School, Nehru Nagar, which serves as the election office for L Ward covering wards 156 to 162 and 164.
