Chennai woman caught trafficking wild primates at Mumbai airport

The animals are currently under medical care and supervision by a team of wildlife experts, rescuers, and veterinarians from RAWW (Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare) on a temporary basis

A Chennai-based woman was intercepted at Mumbai International Airport by Mumbai Customs early Tuesday morning for attempting to traffic two wild species of primates.
The primates were found confined inside a basket hidden within her luggage in extremely suffocating conditions.
