<p>On Wednesday, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> reported 10 new <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/covid19-maharashtra-records-14-new-cases-23302749" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19 cases</a>, taking the overall tally of infections to 1,164,108, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said in a health bulletin.</p>
<p>The data also revealed that city reported one death due to Covid-19 on August 9.</p>
<p>Presently, the city now has 47 active Covid-19 cases.</p>
<p>According to data, Mumbai`s overall growth rate of cases between August 2 and August 8 is 0.0007 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.</p>
<p>So far, 189,17,951 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the city, including 292 samples taken in the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>The caseload doubling time is 144,712 days, as per civic data.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 14 new cases and zero death.&nbsp;</p>
