Twin sisters Arushi and Ayati Sinha topped the list of Science stream at the Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College in their HSC examinations. While Arushi stood first with 98.17 per cent, Ayati secured the second spot with 95.67 per cent. “I am very happy and grateful to my teachers, parents and most importantly my sister for standing by me, teaching me and supporting me throughout,” said Arushi, who had expected a similar score.
However, on the other hand, though Ayati is happy with her percentage, she opines that her results dropped because of scoring less in two subjects. “I had expected that I would score over 90 in English, whereas I got 85. Also, in Chemistry, I expected to get 98 or 99, but I scored less. I have decided to take this up with my college and then apply to the boards to recheck the papers. Had I scored as much as I expected, my overall percentage would have been higher,” expressed Ayati.
