HSC result declines by 1.49 per cent this year, girls continue to shine

A total of 14,27,905 students from all divisions-- Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan-- registered under the regular category. Of these, 14,19,969 students appeared, and 13,29,684 passed, leading to a pass percentage of 93.37 per cent

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Monday declared the results for the Class 12 examinations conducted in February–March 2025. The overall pass percentage declined by 1.49% compared to last year.

The overall pass percentage for 2025 was 91.88%.
