The weather conditions in Maharashtra in the next few hours seem to be extremely concerning. With Cyclone Shakhti approaching the coastal region of Maharashtra, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai, has also issued a yellow alert for multiple districts in Maharashtra on October 4. The yellow alert for various districts by the IMD is for the next three hours, starting from IST 1:00 pm.
The weather agency has also cautioned the residents about moderate to light rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in affected areas.
