The Maharashtra cabinet on Tuesday cleared a proposal to raise a Rs 6,000 crore loan to speed up land acquisition for the proposed Purandar airport in Pune district.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, which also approved the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) involving MIDC, MADC, CIDCO, and other agencies, reported news agency PTI.
