In the aftermath of the deadly terrorist assault in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Maharashtra Cyber, the cybercrime detection wing of the state police has reported a surge of over 10 lakh cyber attacks targeting Indian digital infrastructure, according to PTI.
Officials have confirmed that this spike in malicious cyber activity began shortly after the April 22 terror incident in Baisaran, near Pahalgam, where 26 individuals, most of them tourists, lost their lives in a brutal terrorist ambush.
