Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Eknath Shinde on Tuesday called Sunil Raut, the brother of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut, to inquire about his health, state Industries Minister Uday Samant said, according to news agency PTI.
Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (MP), had announced on October 31 that he was suffering from a serious health condition and would be stepping back from active politics for some time. His brother, Sunil Raut, is a Shiv Sena (UBT) legislator.
