CM Fadnavis says drought-free years key; defends Davos MoUs as state crosses 660 billion dollar mark

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday, February 26, said Maharashtra is on course to become a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2029-30, provided the state does not face a major drought.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he said, “In case of any adverse situation, the target may be pushed by two years (2032)”.
