Five individuals have been booked for allegedly assaulting a senior train ticket examiner (TTE) and his colleague on board the Thiruvananthapuram-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Express, news agency PTI reported. The TTE asked the accused to pay a fine for unauthorised travel near Karjat Railway Station near Mumbai, and that is when the accused assaulted the railway official.
