The Education Department in Maharashtra, has announced a special round for Class 11 (FYJC) online admissions for the academic year 2025–26.
According to an official notification, this year, the entire admission process is being done online across the state for the first time. Maharashtra has 9,525 junior colleges with a total intake capacity of 21,50,130 students. So far, 14,55,945 students have registered for admissions, and 12,03,416 have confirmed their seats.
Under the recently concluded “Open to All” round, 3,81,420 students submitted their final preferences. Among these, 34,784 students received allotment as per their preferences, and 3,24,761 students confirmed their admission in junior colleges by 11 August 2025.
