Mumbai is likely to experience moderate rainfall over this weekend, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a yellow alert for Mumbai for Saturday and Sunday.

The alert predicts thundershowers and lightning, with gusty winds above 40 to 50 kmph over the next two days. The yellow alert has been extended to other districts of Coastal Maharashtra, including Palghar, Thane, Raigad, and Ratnagiri. A green alert has been issued for the remainder of the week, signifying light to no rainfall, according to the forecast.
