After the split in the party, sitting MP Omprakash Rajenimbalkar (Osmanabad) and Sanjay Patil (Parbhani) sided with Thackeray. While Hingoli MP Hemant Patil, however, joined the Eknath Shinde-led faction. In the 2019 election while BJP and undivided Shiv Sena won seven constituencies.
