A massive fire erupted at a food processing unit in Maharashtra`s Sangli district in the early hours of Thursday, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The blaze, which broke out around 5:45 am at Aditi Foods, located in Nerle village of Walwa tehsil, was brought under control after nearly five hours of firefighting efforts, according to officials.

As per PTI, the incident resulted in no casualties, though significant damage was caused to the facility. The fire is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, though authorities are still investigating the exact cause.
