In a major crackdown on electricity theft, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has registered a case against a Nerul resident for allegedly tampering with the power supply and stealing electricity worth over Rs 56,900. Including pending dues, the total financial loss to MSEDCL stands at Rs 82,850.
