In a major boost to the real estate sector across the state, the Maharashtra government has decided to keep ready reckoner (RR) rates unchanged for the financial year 2026–27, a move that will provide significant relief to homebuyers and property developers across the state. In an official statement, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that the property valuation benchmarks used for stamp duty and registration will remain at the same levels as 2025–26.
He further added that the revised rates will come into effect from April 1, 2026, through the office of the Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps.
