Maharashtra on Friday reported 697 new coronavirus-positive cases and two deaths, which took the state`s overall infection tally to 81,14,309 and the toll to 1,48,304, according to the state health department.

The recovery count in Maharashtra rose by 984 in the last 24 hours and reached 79,61,282, leaving the state with an active caseload of 4,723.
