Maharashtra records two new Covid-19 cases, tally at 2,755 since January

Since January, the disease has claimed 44 lives, of which 43 patients had comorbidities and one had another illness. Mumbai and Navi Mumbai reported one new case each

Maharashtra on Tuesday recorded two fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total infections this year to 2,755, the state public health department said.

Since January, the disease has claimed 44 lives, of which 43 patients had comorbidities and one had another illness. Mumbai and Navi Mumbai reported one new case each.

The health department stated that 45,057 Covid-19 tests have been conducted across the state since January 1, while 2,684 patients have recovered so far.
