Maharashtra 'startup capital' of India, says CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that the state has become India’s true “startup capital”, hosting the highest number of registered startups in the country -- nearly 45 per cent of which are led by women, reported the PTI.

Speaking at the inauguration of Innovation Mahakumbh 2025 held at SNDT Women’s University in Juhu, Mumbai, CM Fadnavis said that the vital role women entrepreneurs and young innovators are playing in driving India’s economic growth.
