Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Friday directed state officials to reduce the number of permissions required for setting up new industries and accelerate approval timelines, as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s position as India’s leading investment destination, news agency PTI reported.

While chairing a meeting of the state’s dedicated `Ease of Doing Business` war room, CM Fadnavis emphasised the need to develop India’s best model for industrial setup and make Maharashtra a top-tier industrial hub.
