Mumbai`s E ward, comprising crowded areas such as Nagpada, Agripada, Dongri, and Masjid Bunder, originally developed due to industrial units such as textile factories, and the Mumbai Port Trust dock area bordering the east coast. Today, this is partly industrial and partly residential, and continues to be home to the iconic Mazagaon Dock. It`s a ward with a rich history, and one that contributes significantly to the personality of Mumbai, as home to JJ Hospital, Nair Dental Hospital, Masina Hospital, Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden and Zoo, and Western Railways’ Mumbai Central Terminus, each with its own tremendous heritage value.
