Mumbai’s Metro network crosses 100 km, boosting regional connectivity

Mumbai’s Metro network across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has crossed the 100 km mark, driven by the opening of new stretches on Line 2B and Red Line 9. With major corridors like Aqua Line, Yellow Line 2A and Red Line 7 already operational

All the lines from Mumbai and the suburbs and beyond are a good 100 km long. These include Aqua Line Cuffe Parade to Aarey, which is 33.5km, Yellow Line 2A from Dahisar to Andheri West, which is 18.6 km, Red Line 7 from Gundavali to Dahisar, which is 16.5km and Blue Line from Versova to Ghatkopar, which is 11.4km.
